1. How long have you been drawing, and what inspired you to do so?
--> I first started drawing between the ages of 4-6, I don't quite recall since that was a looong time ago. I stopped drawing after a long time since I felt it was a useless talent, occasionally drawing Dragonball Z characters throughout middle school due to peer pressure (which kinda added to my aversion toward drawing, since all my friends would keep prodding me to draw DBZ characters 24/7). I didn't quite like art classes either as they felt too restricting. I finally resumed drawing (for fun/for myself) about 4 years ago, and started actively learning/taking it seriously as a potential career move about 1.5 years ago.
2. When you first began drawing, what was your style and subject matter?
--> Dinosaurs, Mickey mouse, err...human behinds....yeah blame my dad. His 'teachings' got me to the principal's office in 2nd grade
3. Did anything in particular drastically change your art style from then to now?
--> An open mind, most likely. I just try a lot of things to find my own style, and I think I've sorta narrowed in on it....I just need to see what other styles I can come up with now.
4. How did you learn how to draw?
--> Self-taught? I honestly don't know really, I never really traced stuff/copied stuff all that much. My brain tells me to put certain lines in certain orientations, and for the most part it just works out
5. What embarrasses you the most about your old artwork?
--> See response to #2
7. What makes your old artwork endearing?
--> The fact that a 'less experienced me' made them, and has learned much more since
8. How would you describe your art style now?
--> Dynamic and evocative, at least that's what I aim for. I don't want to just produce a picture that looks nice, I want it to convey motion and a sense of power (I'm still working on getting my artwork to convey actual human emotion, that's probably the toughest obstacle for me)
9. Is it mostly fanart or original artwork now?
--> Fanart....I just find myself doing fanart a lot more because my fanart actually gets looked at and critiqued, and my originals don't have a popular tag or w/e that gets people to look at it consistently. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy doing fanart very much, and I'm using fanart as a means of active practicing so my originals will be that much better when I do start working on them
10. What's your favorite medium/program to work with?
--> I can't just pick one
11. How do you usually sign your artwork? Do you use watermarks?
--> Nah, just a photoshop brush and my RL signature via tablet.
12. How often does a sketch become a completed piece of art?
--> ATM, about 3/5 of the time.
13. How often do you complete a piece of artwork?
--> Depends on my mood really, sometimes I'll do one every week, sometimes I'll go about 10 months without doing anything
14. How long does it take to complete a piece of art?
--> anywhere from 6-20 hours, usually spread out over a week or two.
15. How much of your total art output in the last year has been (a)for class, (b)for commissions/professionally or (c)just for fun/for yourself?
--> (a) none. I don't like art classes
16. How do you deal with art thieves, if you've ever had one?
--> I don't think I have, at least not ones I've found anyway. I honestly don't know as I don't know what it's like to have art stolen, but I'm sure its not the best feeling. In that vein I hope I don't fall victim to it
17. How much do you see your art style/ability changing in the next five to ten years?
--> Hopefully quite a bit, because change to me means improvement and growth. I want my style to branch out and become dynamic instead of just settling into a safe 'formula'. I think the worst thing that can happen to my style is for it to just become stale and unchanging
18. What is your favorite deviation?
--> I don't have one yet, but I hope it'll be one that I draw

Since you have a thing for 'the end of the world' settings.
Dunno if you'll get this, but I tagged you for an art interview thing if you feel like it. Template is in my journal
