J's Portrait

I had to do a portrait of a friend of mine. This is probably my best/most recent effort yet. I used a photo of her to draw out an outline of her face on paper, scanned, opened it up in photoshop and colored it (of course I had to use the photo for references as to where to shade etc.). Took about 7 hours in total to finish minute shading and everything. It doesn't quite look as realistic, you can tell its drawn, but it still looks nice imo
